After five years, I've said goodbye to my life at Madame Tussauds New York. Nic Cage was my last full makeover. After a decade of living in NYC and about 6 years of working in Times Square, I'm moving back home to San Francisco. What a decade to spend my 20s. I've met some forever friends. I've seen things, that only a fraction of, would make a person's life complete. From interning at The Jim Henson Creature Workshop, having a chocolate break on Sesame Street, driving a wax Pope around midtown, to having Victoria's Secret models and celebrities be in awe of my job, I've had a great time in this insomniac city. After hearing that Frank Sinatra song in the lobby for 2+ years, I'm not sure what making it in NYC means in this day and age, but I know myself enough to determine that I no longer need that lifestyle of exposure to find what I'm looking forward too. Goodbye you sweaty patch of concrete, it's been great!

Happy birthday Mr. Sendak! One of my favorite artists, with a multi-skilled life. Glad to share a birthday with him.
Chu Chu Nezumi, first draft. Going to need to tweek some of the running stitches, they don't line up after the fill stitches go in. Need to make the tooth denser too. #chinpokomon #southpark #plush #embroidery
